Mae & Co. is a neighborhood eatery highlighting a love of the Deep South. The concept is named in honor of Mary ‘Mae Mae’ Reliford, a ‘chosen’ grandmother who helped introduce Chef to his love of cooking. “There’s the cliche of cooking from the heart, and then there is seeing it in action. Her food truly tastes better because she made it for you. And that’s at the core of what it means to feed people, and who we want to be.”
Mae & Co. focuses on fresh Gulf, East Coast & West Coast oysters, but that’s simply the start. Show-stopping fried chicken, culinary driven poboys & elevated southern staples will drive home the chef’s roots and love of where he’s from. As expected, desserts will not want to be missed, with Mae’s Pound Cake Gelato being a highlight.
Cocktails are thoughtful upgrades on some refreshing southern staples. The beer lineup is focused on the Louisiana craft beer scene. Wines were diligently selected to pair with our style.
